The history of Rajasthan Black granite is not so old. This material is found in South Rajasthan in Devgarh Area . As this granite is fresh, blockable, and available in abandon and shades, it has become very popular among builders, architects, Industries, Traders, Contractors and end–users in very short time. Looking to its heavy deposits and big areas several mines have been started with modern technology and complete mechanization. Many are under planning. As we know Rajsamand, Udaipur, Bhilwara and its surrounding areas, which are world fame for Marble have also initiated into processing of granite.
